This site is operated by Human Error, based in Melbourne, Australia. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Human Error.
Yes. We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Anyone over 16 years old, or with the supervision of a parent or guardian. To make a purchase you must be able to enter into a legally binding contract under Australian law.
You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with its operation, scrape content for commercial use, infringe our intellectual property, or impersonate another person.
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout. You'll receive an email confirming we've received your order. This confirmation is not acceptance of the order.
Your order is accepted only when we send a dispatch confirmation email. Until then, we may decline an order for any reason — including stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
If we cannot fulfil part of your order, we'll contact you and offer a refund for the unavailable item. You may cancel the rest of the order if you prefer.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and AfterPay. All payments are processed by third-party providers — we never see or store your full card details.
All prices on the site are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Yes. Prices for orders shipped to Australian addresses include 10% GST. International orders are exclusive of duties and taxes at the destination, which are the customer's responsibility.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We will notify you before any cancellation.
Ownership and risk transfer to you when the items are delivered to the shipping address you provided.
Email hello@humanerror.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue and replace or refund as appropriate.
Estimated delivery times are guidance only. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other events outside our control.
Full details are on our returns page. In summary, we accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery for items in original condition.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
All content on humanerror.com — including images, photography, garment designs, text, logos, and brand identity — is owned by Human Error or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content for commercial purposes without written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, supplier failures, courier disruptions, government actions, or pandemics.
We take care to ensure product descriptions, images, and stock levels are accurate, but minor variations can occur (e.g. fabric colour due to screen calibration). We do not warrant that the site is error-free or available without interruption.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
